How Much Does a Crab Pot Cost?

A crab pot, commonly square in shape, is a large trap usually constructed out of galvanized chicken wire.  However, there are other traps that are constructed out of PVC coated wire.  From the moment it was introduced in the 1920s, the crab pot has become the most common method used to catch and harvest crabs in the world.  It cleverly uses the crab’s own escape instincts in trapping and has proven to be one of the most ingenious contraptions of its kind.
