Slabjacking is a procedure used to repair concrete in a driveway or sidewalk.  Laying concrete for any reason always starts with the foundation.  The ground beneath the pavement needs to be level and compact.  Otherwise, the concrete can begin to crack, sink, or even break completely.  If you look at any concrete driveway or sidewalk, you will see that the concrete was laid in square sections.  These sections are known as slabs.  When on of these slabs begins to sink, slabjacking can be done to remedy the problem.  This is a process wherein holes are drilled in the concrete slab and filling the holes with a special mixture that can lift the slab.  A lot of people consider slabjacking rather than completely replacing the slabs since it is a cheaper alternative.
