This price included x-rays, anesthesia, endoscopy, exam, hospitalization for a day, IV, and everything else that goes with it. Quite pricey but do you say no to your pet that is in pain and life in danger?

For what it's worth, in Eastern Europe (we are from there) at a top of the line vet facility, the same procedure performed by an experienced vet, with an overnight stay for monitoring, costs around the equivalent of $350 USD (I.E. technically, although not advisable, it is cheaper to fly the dog there, perform the procedure and fly back :-)
