A LeafGuard salesman quoted us, for 225 linear feet, 5 outside miter corners, 4 inside miter corners, and 7 downspouts, with both a a smile and a friendly tone to his voice the sum of $17,999. However, through the goodness in his heart and if we made the deal at that exact moment, and paid the sum total in cash, again that day, he could offer me the same gutter package for the heavily discounted sum of 15,999. Wow! Not $80.00 per linear foot but $71.11. Well, then there is sales tax +?. …. I feel maybe another quote . . . or a few more may set my mind at ease. Who said crime doesn’t pay?

$5990 for 220 linear feet of leaf guard on my existing gutters which were in excellent condition. I probably paid too much, but have no desire to get up on a ladder 2 or three times a year to clean gutters. I have a lot of trees on two sides of my house, so they fill up quickly there. I just had the system installed a month ago, and all the leaves were already off the trees, so I can’t yet comment on the performance of the system. I do like the lifetime guarantee and the piece-of-mind it gives me. I had a quote for $250 to just clean the gutters out from another contractor, so if I multiply that by 2-3 times per year, the system will “pay for itself” in about ten years.

Prepaid and had the system installed today. They cleaned and fine tuned the pitch of the pre-existing gutters, reworked the downspouts and installed the LeafFilter system. My house and garage are surrounded by trees and the last gutter guards I had always had leaves stick on top of them, rendering them practically useless. The LeafFilter rep told me that not only will they now include my gutters and downspouts in their lifetime guarantee, but should the fascia rot, then they will handle that as well! I was a bit sticker shocked, I’ll admit… but considering I’ll never have to be on a ladder alongside my house or garage again, plus they’re guaranteeing their product and all the extras, figured why not?

They charged my son way too much. Don’t pay this amount. It just leads to bad news!
