$846.33 at a shop attached to a gas station – I had to use this shop as it was across the street from my house thus very convenient to not have to drive the car far away while leaking power steering fluid I took it in on a Tuesday part ordered same day repair complete the next day I was very pleased with the cost based on the quick turn around time

I am blessed to know a very honest family owned auto repair shop. The mechanic performed an inspection. My car is a garage kept, town driven, 2000 Pontiac Grand AM with 152K miles on it. The recommendation was to monitor the power steering reservoir level, fill it as indicated and have the rack & pinion checked by the mechanic when I bring my car in for routine maintenance. I was quoted $582.00 for the entire replacement parts and labor. Good Honest Hard Working Americans! Thank you Worrall Family!

$700 to replace the rack. This included labor. Went to major dealership to have it done. This didn’t include alignment or anything else. They thought it was the fuel pump and replaced the fuel pump first, then found out it wasn’t the pump, so they put our old fuel pump back in and put on a new rack and said they would only charge us for the cost of a fuel pump. I think they charged us more.

BOUGHT RACK ON LINE FOR 339.99, GOT 75.00 BACK FOR USED CORE,ALSO REPLACED NEW OUTTER TIE RODS AND BUSHINGS AND ALIGNMENT I GOT FOR NOTHING BECAUSE I BOUGHT AN ALIGNMENT PACKAGE WHEN I PUT NEW TIRES ON MY TRUCK,INSTALLED EVERYTHING MYSELF.

Every time I turned the wheel it would make a grinding noise first they replace the power steering pump and the hose but it still marketing the noise so I took back up to the shop and they found out they need to replace racket and puoion so I ended paying about $1,000.00 for everything
