26 Bridge Wedding Cost

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, beneath the Manhattan bridge overpass, the 26 Bridge venue, an older factory turned chic, was refurbished in order to create the feel of an older factory frame with a modern-day feel.  Inside, you will still be able to still witness the original brick walls, wooden doors, high ceiling and industrial-like skylines, paired with new hardwood floors, light fixtures and so much more, giving you that hip factory feel, offering a truly one-of-a-kind industrial chic-like wedding.

How much does a 26 Bridge street wedding cost?

The rental fee on its own, depending on the time of year and day of the week you choose, can range from $6,000 to $8,000, a fee that will cover both the ceremony and the reception for 14 hours of event time, including the setup and cleaning time, according to Wedding-Spot.com.  As this fee will not include the catering and alcohol, which is BYO and needs to be approved for the venue, it’s best to budget around $97 to $170 per guest, depending on the type of catering setup you want and if any additions are requested such as an open bar, etc.  Seeing it is BYO, the sky really is the limit as you can go as cheap as a simple buffet to something more extravagant with a five-course meal.

The venue rates, as per this brochure we did find online, was $7,000 for a Friday, $8,000 for a Saturday, $7,000 for Sunday, and $6,000, depending on the function, for all weekdays.  This was also confirmed by the official website and is accurate as of 2018.

In order to secure your wedding date, the venue will ask you place a 50 percent deposit and a security deposit, with the full rental fee due 30 days prior to the event.  Once the payment is made, no refunds will be available unless the site is able to be rebooked.

What is included in the rental fee?

According to Wedding-Spot.com, amenities include a dressing area for the couples, coat check room, access to a 25-foot bar area, tables/chairs (may be an additional fee in some cases), setting up, cleaning up, an onsite manager on the day of the event, sound system, Wi-Fi (small fee) a kitchen for prep only with professional-grade equipment, public parking and a designated dance area.

Venue options

Both the indoor reception and ceremony area can cater up to 250 seated guests and up to 375 standing guests for a standing reception.  Being an open space within the facility, the venue is able to cater to virtually any scenario and is open year round.  You can view the official banquet hall and entire floor plan by clicking here.  There is only an indoor option, with no outdoor options available, with the exception of a small load-in dock that the caterer can use for open flame equipment and enough parking for up to four vehicles.

Tips to know

General liability insurance is required for all weddings, according to TheKnot.com.

Alcohol is allowed, but as mentioned, it is “BYO” and no cash bars are allowed.

No rice, birdseed, confetti or anything related is not allowed on the property.

You’re allowed to bring in your own caterer; however, it needed to be approved by the venue.  The venue does have a handpicked vendor list with professionals whom they have worked with in the past.  You can view a preferred list here.

Amplified music is okay as long as it’s indoors only.  All music must end by 1 a.m., no exceptions.

The venue does work with two exclusive vendors — Elite Value for valet and Outfit Security for all security on premises.

The venue only allows one event per day, meaning you will not have to worry about crossing paths with other couples.

To see the venue in action, GreenWeddingShoes.com offered a variety of pictures from couples who had a wedding here in the past.
