Barton Creek Country Club overview

The Barton Creek Country Club is home to four golf courses that are affiliated with the resort on site — the Fazio Foothills, Fazio Canyons, Crenshaw Cliffside, and Palmer Lakeside — all designed by Tom Fazio, Ben Crenshaw, Bill Coore and Arnold Palmer.  Alongside these courses includes four driving ranges, six putting greens, four short game areas and the Barton Creek Golf Academy.

Tennis options include multiple tennis courts, tennis programs, clinics, summer camps and specialty programs for advanced players.

Member dining options include the Tejas Dining Room, an exclusive members-only dining room offering family-friendly cuisine.

The fitness center, spanning 11,000 square feet, offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment, free weights, punching bags, weekly classes, running options and certified personal trainers.  Weekly classes, all being complimentary, includes yoga, aquatics, Pilates, strength and aerobics.

A kids’ club, designed for children six months to eight years old, is a complimentary service opened to all members.

What are the extra costs?

Golf tournaments, clinics, the academy and private lessons are all additional costs to budget for.

Social events and children activities, available throughout the year, can incur additional charges.

Personal training options are available for an additional fee.

How can I save money?

It appears you don’t have to be a member to play any of the four golf courses.  According to this rates and date information page on OmniHotels.com, the resort rate, if staying at the hotel, can range from $60 to $250+ a person, depending on when you book your tee time and what time you plan on playing.
