How much does a California Family Fitness membership cost?
According to About.com, the prices for California Family Fitness programs vary throughout the year because of various promotions held annually. Families with 3 to 5 members can expect to pay approximately $110 each month in addition to enrollment fees. Individuals will pay around $49 per month, and couples will pay around $64 per month. In the end, depending on how many people joining, the current promotion and if you’re eligible for any discounts, the monthly fees can range from $49 to $110 per month.
The UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California, offers an individual membership for $49 per month or $99 for the entire family, for example.
The official website says the prices can start as low as $2 a day.
On this Yelp.com thread, a member said she was paying $48 a month to access most of their local locations, while another said they were paying $80 per month.
California Family Fitness membership overview
Each month, every club member receives five VIP passes for friends and family, per adult in a household.
Amenities will vary from gym to gym location, but most locations offer a sauna/steam room, jacuzzi, indoor rock climbing, basketball courts, racquetball courts, tennis courts, tanning, a juice bar and/or hydromassages.

Advanced fitness classes will include a boot camp workout, a sports conditioning class, and a cardio interval program. These are great for people who are already in fairly good condition and can withstand a lot in a workout.
California Family Fitness offers many aquatic opportunities such as swim lessons, swim classes, swim workouts, and simple recreation.
In addition to the workout part of California Family Fitness, there are also basketball courts and soccer fields (not at all locations) that can host leagues, practices, or can be just played for recreation.
Children’s programs are provided via the Kidz Klub, which features activities such as storytime, craft days, sports, tumbling, and Wii station. Other kid-friendly activities are also offered such as spray gardens for children as well as traditional indoor and outdoor playgrounds. All locations offer child care options for its members.
