Chipotle Catering Cost

Chipotle has several different options perfect for any party, with the ability to serve a few guests or as many as a few hundred.

While most locations cater, Chipotle recommends calling a location near you to confirm.

How much does Chipotle catering cost?

The costs of Chipotle catering will depend on a few factors, including the catering option you choose and if you need any premium add-ons.  With so many options, we broke down the costs inside of the table below to give you an idea as to how much you could pay.

How did we get these prices?  You can actually go to the Chipotle’s official website and start your catering order to see what each option costs.  If you do decide to place a catering order, Chipotle does ask that you place it at least 24 hours in advance.   Use these prices as an estimate only and refer to your local location as the prices can vary.

Build your own

Chipotle offers a three-tiered build your open option, allowing you to customized a combination that’s right for your group.  The first tier covers everything you to need to “bowl and taco” up, whereas the triple option maximizes all of your trimmings.  Regardless of which option you choose, this option can serve up to 200 people and will include all bowls, utensils, and napkins.   Each serving would be just like eating iside of the restaurant.

a.  Single

Create either you own bowl, taco or salad.  Choose ONE protein (chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, sofritas, or guacamole), then choose TWO bases (white rice, brown rice, salad lettuce, black beans, or pinto beans), then TWO toppings (veggies, cheese or sour cream) and TWO salsa options.

b.  Double

Create either you own bowl, taco or salad, but, unlike the single option, you’re able to choose TWO proteins and THREE toppings.  The double option also comes with your choice of queso or guacamole.

c.  Triple

Create either you own bowl, taco or salad, with the ability to choose THREE proteins, ALL toppings, ALL bases, and the triple comes with chips, queso, guacamole, salad vinaigrettes, soft flour tortillas, crispy corn tortillas and all of the restaurant’s salsa options.

Burritos by the Box

The Burritos by the Box option allows you to mix and match your meats, sofritas or veggies, or if you do not want to customize it, the restaurant can do it for you  Options include chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, veggie, and sofritas, in addition to either white or brown rice.  In addition to the burrito box, for every two burritos ordered, it will also come with a bag of chips, side of sour cream, side of guacamole and one side of green tomatillo salsa.

Chips and Salsa Spread

Designed for more than 10 people, the chips and salsa spread comes with chips, all salsa options (mild, medium, medium-hot, hot) and a choice of either queso or guacamole.

Additional fees

Delivery

The company can deliver for an additional fee as long as you place a pre-order.  Delivery coverage varies from restaurant to restaurant, with the price dependent upon the catering total.

Tips to know

Chipotle does not include setup, but since the builds do come ready to serve, all you have to do is pop open the containers to serve your guests.  Even if you’re willing to pay, the restaurant cannot send a staff or team for an event.

While the restaurant asks you to place an order at least 24 hours in advance, it’s best to do it as soon as possible, up to six months before the date.  Waiting until the last minute could cause a hassle, especially if the restaurant is short staffed for the day.

No dessert or beverage options are available via catering, but customers are welcomed to buy individual beverages inside the store if need be.
