How much does a Coto de Caza Country Club membership cost?
As with most country clubs, the costs of joining will greatly depend on the type of membership you’re looking to sign up for. From our research, a membership, on average, will have an initiation fee within the $25,000 to $65,000 range, and the monthly fees will be in the high $xxx a month range for a full golf membership. On this Reddit thread, one member stated he was able to purchase a Junior membership for $4,000, with the monthly dues being $500 a month. The food and beverage minimum was an additional $150 a quarter.

Social Membership: This membership category includes a spouse and children who are younger than 26 years old. Benefits include clubhouse access, an invitation to all social events, use of the fitness center, access to the aquatic center, and access to a network of private clubs and resorts.
Coto de Caza Country Club overview
The club offers a 36-hole golf course (North and South course), 10 hard-surfaced tennis courts, three swimming pools (25-yard family pool and 12-yard adult pool), an outdoor Jacuzzi and two restaurants on site — the Preserve Restaurant and Craftsman. The club also offers a 44,000-square-foot craftsman-style clubhouse and a 13,000-square-foot spa and sports club featuring a full-service spa with four treatment rooms and locker rooms equipped with a steam room and sauna.
What are the extra costs?
Members do have to pay a cart fee of about $15 per round, but a yearly pass is available to lower the costs per round.
Tournaments and special/social events can incur an additional cost.
Lessons, leagues, programs and clinics, all of which are offered here, can be an additional cost to consider.
Green fees for guests and members without golfing privileges is said to be between $100 to $150.
Tips to know:
Both courses, the North and South, being designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. offer championship layouts. The North course measures 7162 yards and was opened for play in 1987. As Orange County grew in size, the South course opened for play, measuring slightly smaller at 6,950 yards.
