How much does the Greenwood Athletic Club cost?

The cost of a Greenwood Athletic Club membership will depend on the type of membership and how you plan on paying.  A month-to-month membership, for example, will be more than a prepaid membership.  The costs, from what we researched, will be close to $110+ a month for an individual membership an another $350 to $700 for the joining fees, but the joining fee can be much lower or even higher depending on the current promotion being held.

This Club Solutions Magazine article claims the initiation fee ranges from $350 to $800.

Greenwood Athletic Club overview

The club offers the following types of membership options:  associate membership (18-27 years old), young professional (28-37 years old), single, dual, family, corporate, tennis and 70+ membership.

The 101,000 square foot facility offers expert personal trainers, a kids’ club, yoga, Pilates studio, indoor/outdoor running trails, a spinning studio with 50+ bikes, indoor/outdoor lap pools, 130+ exercise classes, basketball, racquetball, squash, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a mixed martial arts studio.  The club also offers a tennis club, a 52,000 square foot facility, which features seven indoor clay courts, five outdoor hard courts, online court reservations, no court fees for members, tennis professionals and a year-round climate controlled environment.

What are the extra costs?

Guest fees do apply if you bring a non-member to the gym.  According to the gym, it will cost $20 for club members to bring in a guest and $30 for non-members.  Members are also able to purchase a 10 pass booklet for $150 or five pack for $90.  Tennis and pool passes are also available for guests as well.

Adding the tennis club will increase the monthly costs.

Private personal trainers, tennis pros, programs and/or lessons can be an additional cost to consider.

Barre, TRX Suspension Training, Powerfit, Sports Specific Training Camps and Sleek Physique, which are all considered specialty classes, will come at an additional cost, which, from our understanding, is about $7~ per class.
