How much do Air Yeezys cost?

The initial pair of Air Yeezys, which were released in early 2009, retailed for $245 but sold out within seconds.  The resale prices, at the time, were over $1,000 on the resale market due to the limited supply.

Today, due to the limited supply, the costs of an authentic pair of Air Yeezys today on eBay will often cost $500 to $4,000+, depending on the condition, the size and version being purchased.  With a handful of versions on the market, all shoes will have to be purchased on the resale market as none will be found at a local big box retailer.  Refer to our table below to see what you may pay for a slightly used or if you’re lucky, a brand new pair in the box:

NOTE:  These are just the resale price we had found on eBay.  Keep in mind these prices will fluctuate depending on the demand.

On FlightClub, an online website that allows members to sell their shoes, had listings for the Air Yeezys ranging from as high as $6,000 for the Air Yeezy 2 to as little as $750 for the Yeezy Boost 350.

What are the extra costs?

Shipping fees often apply to online purchases.

Purchasing authentic Air Yeezy laces will cost a lot more than traditional laces.

Tips to know:

Kanye West is no longer with Nike due to the company refusing to offer royalties, but his two signature sneakers with the company, The Air Yeezy 1 and 2, can still be found online.

Counterfeits are rampant if you’re purchasing online.  From a glance at the box, counterfeit versions will often be smaller in size when compared to the original.  The fake box is often bulkier.  As for the Air II, counterfeits have translucent soles and protruding scales compared to the authentic ones.  Also, counterfeits have shorter and shiny laces unlike the original ones and lack Roman numbers on the lace locks.  NikeTalk.com has a guide showing what you should look for in a counterfeit.

If you are going to purchase Air Yeezys used online, make sure that you get a picture of them or see them in person before buying to ensure that they are in good enough condition to be worth the money.  You should only pay top dollar for a pair that has never been worn.
