Interlachen Country Club membership overview
The club offers different types of memberships: a golf membership, social membership, and tennis/fitness membership.
The club’s amenities include a 50,000 square foot Tudor-styled clubhouse, settled atop the property’s tallest hill that overlooks the golf course. The clubhouse provides casual and formal dining prepared by an exceptional culinary staff that serves international cuisine.
The 18-hole golf course was designed by renowned Donald Ross and is considered as one of the best courses in the United States. A driving range, short game area and practice putting green area is available as well. The club offers private or group lessons to members provided by professional staff.
The club’s tennis facility includes seven clay courts, which are watered and maintained daily, and two Lay-Kold hard courts that are separated by fencing and are often used for tennis instruction. The tennis clubhouse has two locker rooms, both of which are complete with showers and changing facilities. The clubhouse also has a meeting room that serves refreshments or dinner after tennis activities. The tennis area is manned by trained desk attendants and certified tennis professionals. The club has an active schedule of tennis activities for both young and adult members.
The club’s wellness center offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment and spa services within the facility, including pedicure massage therapy, manicure and pedicure services for both male and female members. Other services include body therapy, Swedish massages, pregnancy massages, deep tissue and trigger point therapy, and sports massages.
The swimming facility offers a six-lane, 25-yard pool with a 12-foot diving pool. The club also offers swim lessons for all members.
The club also has facilities for winter activities since the snow trails throughout the rolling hills are good for members who want to engage in these activities, according to the club. There are skating lessons for hockey and figure skating because, during the winter months, the tennis courts are converted into recreational skating and hockey rinks. The tennis building, at this time, serves as a warming space where foods and refreshments are served. Other winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, curling and broomball.
What are the extra costs?
Guests and members who don’t have golfing privileges will often have to pay about $50 to $200 in green fees. The costs will depend on the time of year and amount of holes played.
Private lessons, clinics, tournaments and leagues are all additional costs to consider.
Social events, which are commonly held at the club throughout the year, can be yet another cost to budget for.
