The Marin Country Club, opening its doors in 185, has established a dedication to provide a private and inclusive experience members should expect, according to the club.

Located in Novato, California, settled in the sunny Ignacio Valley, the club offers all of the amenities you should expect from a country club.

How much does a Marin Country Club membership cost?

On average, the initiation fees are said to be around $30,000 and monthly dues average about $200 to $300 per month, according to this older MarinScope.com article.  The costs, as with most country clubs, will greatly depend on the type of membership you’re looking to sign up for.  While this information is slightly older, it should offer an idea ballpark on what the club may be charging.  Granted, this isn’t the actual cost of joining, so it’s best to contact the club directly for more information on membership fees.

The membership options

Regular Proprietary (Golf) – Provides the member access to unlimited golf and full use of all amenities, including the golfing practice area, tennis courts, fitness center, pools, social events and dining options.

Regular Social Proprietary – Social members and their immediate family can play up to 12 rounds of golf per year.  This membership also offers full use of all amenities, including the golfing practice area, tennis courts, fitness center, pools, social events and dining options.

Intermediate (Young Professional) – This is an age-based category that provides the member and their immediate family all of the same privileges as the Regular Proprietary class.

Corporate – A membership class designed for a corporation/business with more than five employees.  A corporate designee and their family can receive full golfing privileges and access to the club’s amenities.
