Medinah Country Club Membership Cost
The Medinah Country Club, designated as a Platinum Club of America, is a five-star, private country club located in the heart of Medinah, Illinois, about 25 miles west of Chicago.
How much does a Medinah Country Club membership cost?
According to the club’s official website, all memberships to the club are non-equity and are by invitation only, and while the club doesn’t specify the costs on its official page since you do need to be sponsored to join, ChicagoBusiness.com does note the initiation fee is as high as $85,000, while monthly rates, depending on the membership options discussed below, can range anywhere from $600 to $1,000+ per month for the golf-based memberships.
A few members on this GolfWRX.com forum thread, for instance, discussed the costs of this country club, and one person on the forum thread, who was familiar with the club, noted the initiation fees often start at about $65,000 for the younger memberships, but you only need to deposit $10,000 at the time of signing, paying the remainder over the next few years. As for monthly membership fees, he also noted junior memberships are usually in the $600 a month range, while the regular membership can be higher than $1,000 a month.
