The Mesa Verde Country Club, founded in 1959, is a member-owned club located in Costa Mesa, California.
Today, the club is located on what was formerly farmland, sprawling more than 135 acres and later transformed into an 18-hole championship golf course designed by architect, William F. Bell.
How much does a Mesa Verde Country Club membership cost?
The costs of joining the Mesa Verde Country Club, as with most country clubs, will generally depend on the type of membership you sign up for. From our research, it appears as if the Full Golf Equity Membership has a $60,000 initiation fee and mid-high $xxx in monthly dues. Via the club’s 2016 public tax records, they reported $5,702,936 in dues, and the club, as of 2017, has 417 equity members and 170 social members, according to the LA Times. Membership options
Full Golf Equity Membership: This membership option extends to the primary member, spouse and their dependents and privileges include full access to the golf course, tennis courts, the swimming pool and clubhouse services. The LA Times mentions all Full Golf Equity members do have proprietary rights.
Junior Golf Membership: This membership option is designed for members who are younger than 40. Privileges, like the Full Golf Equity membership, include full access to the golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool and clubhouse services.
Social Tennis Membership: This membership option offers full access to tennis courts, swimming pool and clubhouse services. No golf access is included. The membership extends to the primary member, spouse and their dependents.
Mesa Verde Country Club overview
Amenities include the William F. Bell 18-hole golf course, ten plexi-paved tennis courts, six of which are lighted, a pool complex, locker rooms, a fully stocked pro shop, a card room, three dining rooms, a cafe, a banquet hall and conference rooms. The clubhouse was founded in 1959 and was later restored/rebuilt in 2003.
What are the extra costs?
Private/group lessons, the clinics, camps, outings, tournaments and junior programs, all of which are offered for golf, swimming and tennis, can all be additional costs from the costs mentioned prior.
