The Old Oaks Country Club, located in Purchase, New York, was designed by A.W. Tillinghast/Colt and Alison and sets on more than 170 acres in Westchester County.

Opened in 1925, the golf course is known to be one of the real gems in the New York metropolitan area. With a significant pitch and diabolical bunkering on most greens, Old Oaks has continued to stand the test of time with regards to challenging the world’s best players.

The country club, aside from its golf course, also offers a 80,000 square foot clubhouse, member grill room, dining area, an Olympic-sized pool, two outdoor terraces, an outdoor garden, 10 Har Tru tennis courts, 16 suites, a 10-acre driving range, five cottages, a locker room and massage/spa services.

What are the extra costs?

As with most country clubs, a certain amount needs to be spent on food and beverage every quarter.  At this time, these minimums are unknown.

The weekend green fee for non-golf members/guests is said to be $125.

Lessons, clinics, outings and tournaments can all incur additional fees.

Social events, commonly held throughout the year, will often have fees to join.  Some of these popular events include the Fourth of July fireworks and New Years Eve dinner dances.

Old Oaks Country Club is a private golf course having an “Accompanied By Member” guest policy.

Today, Old Oaks Country Club has more than 300 members with many of its members being a third and fourth generation, according to the club.

The club has hosted several major regional championships, including the MET PGA Section Championship, the MET Open, and have hosted the US Open-Sectional Qualifying for the past 15 years.
