Tips to know

Remind your guests of the start and end time of your wedding in order to avoid delays of the event.  If it is an afternoon reception, it should end by 4 p.m., and if it is an evening reception, it should start by 6 p.m.

In order to reserve the date and space, you should have a deposit and a signed contract.

Make sure that you are 100% sure that you will have your wedding held at the hotel because if you change your mind, you will have to pay cancellation fees that are based on how close to the wedding date that the event is canceled.

The venue recommends that you book at least 12 to 18 months in advance to ensure that you get your preferred date and time.

Due to liability, you must use their catering service.

A one-hour reherasal time is generaly held one day prior to the event.

How can I save money?

The reception rental fees will be waived if you decide to let the Opryland host your wedding ceremony—something that you should consider if you want to cut costs.

Evening packages are more expensive than afternoons as with any wedding venue, so if you don’t mind getting married during the day, this could bring the costs down.

Discounted hotel rates are available for those who book rooms in blocks of 10.

Work with the wedding coordinator as they are able to work with a budget within reason.
