The Park Ridge Country Club, founded in 1906, is a private, member-owned club.

How much does a Park Ridge Country Club membership cost?

Since data is relatively hard to find, the initiation fees are said to be between $75,000 and $150,000, while monthly fees start at about $500 and increase from there.  Like most country clubs, the costs will greatly depend on the type of membership you sign up for.  Being a private club, membership is by invitation only. The membership committee assists potential members through invitation and nomination.

Via this job posting, it claimed the club had annual dues of $3.4 million and 500 members.  Even though all members probably are not paying the same fees, it can be safe to assume the average annual fees are $6,800 or $566 a month.

Aside from the golf course, the club also offers a driving range, golf practice facilities, a swimming facility, four clay tennis courts, and a clubhouse, which includes the North lounge, the Grill, the Main Dining room, the Library, the Private dining room, the Porch, the Terrace, Heritage Lounge and the Men’s 19th hole room. All of these options serve as great venues for social functions and events as these rooms can seat up to 50 guests in the smaller rooms and up to 300 guests in the larger rooms.

What are the extra costs?

A minimum food and beverage fee may apply, but at this time, it’s unconfirmed.

Locker and bag storage fees are additional costs to budget for.

Guests fees for both the golf course and other amenities can apply.

Clinics, private lessons, leagues and special events, commonly held throughout the year, can incur additional costs.

Tips to know:

The course has been remodeled by four golf architects through the years. The course was first designed as a 9-hole by famous golf architect, HJ Tweedie, and opened for official play in 1909. Through the years, the course was redesigned to be an 18-hole course as it is today. The golf course is a challenging 18 hole, 6,517 yards of golf play experience.

The golf course has hosted the Chicago Land Champion of Champions Tournament since 1998.

Blue jeans, cut-offs, shorts (other than Bermuda shorts), tank tops and tennis wear are not acceptable attire. Commencing at the dinner hour, gentlemen are requested to wear a coat and tie in the main dining room, according to the club’s official dress code.
