How much does a Park Savoy Estate wedding cost?

At this location, the cost is going to depend on the time of year, the day and the number of people.  On average, be prepared to spend anywhere from $130 to $230 per person for a wedding at the Park Savoy Estate.  Depending on the time of the year, be prepared to have a minimum that can range from 150 to 200 people.

As for the rental fee, there is none; however, a setup fee for the ceremony will be $5 per person and additional hours, according to Wedding-Spot.com, can be arranged for another $10 an hour per person.

For example, a few brides on this TheKnot.com forum thread stated that they received quotes that ranged from $180 to $220 per person.  One bride, in particular, claimed that her $220 quote was for a Saturday night in July.

HereComestheBride.com claims there’s no site fee, but a $5 per person fee will be charged.  As for meals, the prices will start at $135 per person, with taxes and the service charge being an additional fee.

Park Savoy Estate wedding overview

The ceremony can either be held in the Ballroom or at the Gardens.  The Ballroom, highlighting its 19th-century architecture, offers wall-to-wall windows and can accommodate both the reception and ceremony.  The Gardens, another option for the ceremony, can be held on the manicured lawns, featuring flowers, water features and historic feel.

The max capacity for the indoor reception will be 350 guests, but the Gardens area can seat up to 375.

The venue offers a bridal suite, a multi-tiered veranda, gazebo, and reflecting pools.  They can also provide a preferred vendor list if you were to need help choosing outside help.

You and your guests will have exclusive use of the whole building for the entire duration of your wedding event, and the estimates above will include five hours of use.   Couples can choose from blocks, starting as early as 8 a.m. until as late as 2 a.m.

In-house catering is available, but outside vendors are welcome as well.  There is a menu available where you can choose the appetizers, Hors D’oeuvres, entrees, and sides to customize for your wedding if you were to choose the official venue’s caterer.

There are multiple rooms and bars for your guests to use during the cocktail hour while the couple is taking pictures.

The venue will offer services from a professional wedding coordinator, who will make sure that even the tiniest details about your event are not taken for granted.

What are the extra costs?

Gratuity and tax will be an additional cost to consider.  This price may not be determined until the day of the wedding since there may be last minute changes.

Altering the menu, aside from what the venue offers, may increase the costs.

Tips to know

The staff of the venue will focus solely on your wedding so do not have second thoughts about sharing your ideas or make a few requests. Anyway, this will only be one wedding at a time so your requests should be fulfilled.

When planning the menu, ask your caterer or event planner for suggestions on the best picks to make sure that you are serving the right meals to your guests.

Visit the official website of the venue for more information about its wedding cost.

How can I save money?

Consider the time of the year and day.  For example, a wedding on a weekday afternoon can be half the cost of one held on a weekend night.  This can be said with any venue, however.  Be sure to work with your coordinator to see if they can work with your budget.

Start and end your wedding reception on time.  Keep in mind that if you over the allotted number of hours, the venue will charge you extra fees per 30 minutes.  As mentioned, the estimate includes five hours of use.
