The Prestonwood Country Club is a private club located in Preston, a residential community located in Cary, North Carolina.

NOTE:  These costs were extracted in 2017 and are subject to change.  Use these fees as an estimate and refer to the official membership department for accurate membership fees as of today.  Adding a designee can greatly reduce the iniation fee, but the monthly dues will remain the same.

The membership options

Full Golf – Offers access to all privileges at the club, including the use of golf, tennis, fitness, dining and the Kid’s Club.  The membership fees, for the immediate family, will include the green golf fees and tennis court fees.

Tennis – A membership option offering access to the tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness center, dining options and the Kid’s Club.  The membership fees, for the immediate family, will include the tennis court fees.

Social – A membership option offering access to the swimming pool, fitness center, dining options and the Kid’s Club.

Dining – A dining membership only offers access to dining facilities only for members in the member’s immediate family.

Young Professional – Designed for members who are younger than 37 years old.  Younger members can sign up for the same membership mentioned prior with payment plan options and reduced monthly dues.

National – Available to members who live at least 100 miles from the club.  This option offers all privileges at the club; however, green fees, court fees, fitness center fees and swimming pool entrance fees will apply.

Legacy – Offered to adult children, older than 23 years old, of active members.  This membership allows members to pay reduced initiation fees and monthly dues.

Corporate – Available for a minimum of two individual designees and their immediate families.

Prestonwood Country Club overview

The club boasts three 18-hole golf courses, with each ranked in the top 100 lists in North Carolina, according to the North Carolina Golf Panel, a full-service pro shop, modified par-3 tees, indoor golf learning center and a junior golf program.

Tennis amenities include six composition clay, nine all-weather lighted tennis courts and a tennis shop stocked with brand name apparel, accessories, equipment and racket repair/restringing services.

The club features a 10,000 square foot fitness center hosting complimentary workout classes, access to fitness trainers, massage therapy options and an aquatics center, which features three outdoor swimming pools, an eight-lane competition pool and a full-service snack bar.

Social groups, including the Bridge Association and Ladies Book Club.

Kids Club amenities include year-round programming, track-out camps, babysitting services, summer camp options and special events held throughout the year.

Dining amenities include the a la carte restaurant, the Red Fox, an English-style pub and the Oak Room Grille.  The Grand Ballroom is also available for hosting memorable events.

What are the extra costs?

Residents are welcome to purchase their own private cart and pay an annual cart trail fee, according to the club.

Leagues, clinics, tournaments, special events, and outings, all of which are offered for golf, tennis, and swimming, can all have optional additional costs to budget for.

Be sure to check out the official members specials page to see if you can take advantage of any deals as of today.  It seems as if the club continues to offer specials throughout the year for new incoming members.

Being part of the local HOA can lead to lower initiation dues and monthly fees.
