In 1989, the El Dorado Hills Development Company purchased a 3,500-acre parcel with the vision of creating a golf course in the Serrano foothills.
How much does a Serrano Country Club membership cost?
As with any country club, the costs will greatly depend on the membership you sign up. From our research from third-party sources, the fees are included in the table below:

The membership options
Golf – A membership option which offers access to all of the club’s amenities and services. This class, as per the club, is limited to 450 members, and these memberships are proprietary, voting, assessable and transferable as per the club’s bylaws.
Associate – A membership class designed for members who are 21 to 39 years old. This membership offers full use of all amenities and is considered non-proprietary, non-assessable, non-voting and non-transferable. This class is limited to 25 members.
Sports – An option which offers access to all amenities but limited golfing privileges as members are only able to golf six times per year while paying the green fees. This membership class is limited to 150 members and is considered non-proprietary, non-assessable, non-voting and non-transferable.
Social – These members can enjoy dining and the social facilities only. There are no current cap limits and is considered non-proprietary, non-assessable, non-voting and non-transferable.
Serrano Country Club overview
As part of the amenities at the club includes the 18-hole, par-72 golf course, a 34,000 square foot clubhouse, a junior Olympic-sized pool, toddler pool, jacuzzi, two fully lighted tennis courts, a fitness center, a fully stocked pro shop and dining options. What are the extra costs?
Private lessons, available for both golf and tennis is available. According to the official tennis page of the club, a one-hour private lesson will be $50 an hour, whereas a one-hour semi-private tennis lesson will cost $35 an hour if you’re a member of the club.
Tips to know
The country club, not to be confused with the HOA, is considered private and will not be included in the HOA fees paid by Serrano residents. If any residents want to join the club, they will have to pay the fees mentioned prior.
