Stonebriar Country Club overview

The country club has two championship 18-hole golf courses, eight lighted tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a 65,000 square foot clubhouse, which is equipped with a state-of-the-art fitness facility.  This fitness center offers members access to cardio machines, free weights and different classes, ranging from yoga to Zumba.

Stonebriar Country Club is part of a premier group of country clubs known as ClubCorp.  Through this program, you have access to more than 200 private clubs and 700 hotels and restaurants throughout the United States.  When you sign up for membership, you will be given a listing of all other clubs and restaurants within ClubCorp.

Membership options

Golf members enjoy access to both golf courses, the pro shops, 10-acre practice facility, expert instructions, tournaments, clinics, range balls, bag storage, tennis privileges, social privileges, the clubhouse, fitness center and the swimming pool.

The Young Professional Executive Membership is only available for those who are 21 to 40 years of age, and this membership offers the same inclusions as the main golf membership.

The Tennis Membership allows access to the tennis facilities, social privileges, fitness center and dining options.  No golf is included in this membership.

The Social Membership offers access to the fitness center, massage therapy, the pools and the tennis and golf programs.

What are the extra costs?

Food and beverage minimums are common in private clubs, and you can expect that the minimum to be around $50 to $150 per month.

There are also miscellaneous fees that you might have to pay extra for such as the driving range, club storage, and locker rental fees.  These fees will depend on the type of membership you apply for.

Private instruction for golf, tennis or swim can be an additional cost to consider.

There are also leagues and tournaments for each sport that a member can enter, each with its own entry fee.

Personal trainers are available at the fitness center for an additional fee.

Guests fees may apply.

Green fees will apply for non-golf members.
