This dog is a great choice for those with allergies since it has hair, not fur, and is considered to be hypoallergenic. These dogs are also loyal, fairly quiet, low key and low in maintenance.

While this estimate does seem high, we didn’t find too many breeders charging more than $2,500, even for a high-quality breed. In fact, to prove our point, the official AKC Marketplace had about 50 registered and reputable AKC breeders listing their puppies for $2,000 to $2,700. The Coton De Tulera obtained official recognition by the AKC in July of 2014.
