How Much Do Nothing Bundt Cakes Cost?

Nothing Bundt Cakes was established by Mara Fortin, who created the most sought-after dessert in San Diego.

While Mary Fortin was the first person in this area to open a Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise, she took the idea, recipes, and title from the original Nothing Bundt Cakes that was established by Dena Tripp and Debra Schwetz.  These two ladies took the bundt cake recipes from their mothers, combined them, perfected them, and created one of the best bakeries out there.

How much does a Dairy Queen ice cream cake cost?

The price of a Dairy Queen cake will depend on the type of cake you buy, your location and if any promotions are going on.  Most cakes will range anywhere from $20 to $34, but in some cases, it can be as low as $10 for an 8-inch cake if they were running a promotion.

To make things easier, we created a table below with the average cost of each cake.

Type of CakePrice Range
8-inch Blizzard Round$26
8-inch Round$23
9-inch Heart$23
10"x14" Sheet$31
10-inch Blizzard Round$29
10-inch Round$26
11"x15" Sheet$34
DQ Cupcake$2 each
Log$20
Treatzza Pizza$13

NOTE:  Use this as an estimate as your local Dairy Queen could charge more or less.  From what we researched, these prices may be off by $1 to $3.

DQCakes.com, the official website of Dairy Queen, allows you to build and price a cake by following the link.

Dairy Queen ice cream cake overview

Dairy Queen offers the following types of cakes: round, heart, log, sheet, and blizzard-based cakes, and the Blizzard-based cakes can come in the following flavors:  Oreo, Mint Oreo, Chocolate Xtreme, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and Confetti.

Dairy Queen Cakes can be ordered at a local DQ store, by calling or online via their official website.  All cakes, according to the company, are made fresh every day.

What are the extra costs?

Some locations may charge an additional $3 to $5 for edible images.  The same can be said if you want to purchase candles.

If you order a personalized cake with less than 24-hours notice, you may be charged an additional expedited fee.

Tips to know

During holidays, such as mother’s day or father’s day, these cakes sell faster than cake decorators can decorate.  If you are going to order during the peak times, it may be best to order ahead of time to make sure that you can guarantee your order.

Dairy Queen does custom cakes; however, you have to ensure that you place an order at least three days in advance, particularly if you want to have an edible photo image on it.  For regular cakes, as well as a regular image from the Dairy Queen Cake catalog, it is customary to give a 24 hours notice.  For custom cakes, order at least two days in advance.

Not all cakes are available at all locations.  If you order online, pay close attention to the location from which you are ordering; it may not necessarily be the one closest to you if there is a specific cake you want to order.

If you are in a hurry and need a cake with no notice, you can purchase one straight from the cooler at your local Dairy Queen.  While there will not be any specific decorations, you can at least have the person’s name and a message written on it.

Make sure that you have enough freezer space for the cake that you order as the largest cakes do take up a lot of room.  All Dairy Queen cakes have some type of ice cream, so they will need to be kept frozen until they are cut and served.

How can I save money?

Consider to save a few dollars.

With a Dairy Queen Cake coupon, you can get up to 50% discount off the price of the cake.  You can get the Dairy Queen Cake offers (coupons) and deals on their website, or in some cases, you can even find deals . For example, at the time of writing this guide, they are offering an 8-inch ice cream cake for $12 and a 10-inch ice cream cake for $14.

You can choose to purchase a plain DQ cake and then decorate it yourself.  This will save you money on the cake and it will give you a chance to add your personal touch to it.

Equinox gym membership overview

With multiple locations throughout the United States, each location will offer its own amenities.  Some may have a pool and hot tub, whereas another location may have a sauna.  As for classes, all locations will have a limited number of group classes available, and members will either need to book the classes online via their app or simply walk in if the class requires it.   These classes include dance, kickboxing, studio cycling, pilates, spinning and yoga, to name a few, but new classes are added all the time.  For instance, at the time of this publishing, they added a pure strength and Firestarter(TM) class.

In addition, each gym will include state-of-the-art cardio equipment, free weights, a childcare center and juice bars.

New members often receive a free training session, some guest passes, a fitness assessment and/or a short massage.  This will all depend on the current new member promotion being held at the time.

What are the extra costs?

A fixed locker and laundry service is available for an additional $700~ per year.

Spa services, which can include facials, massages, waxings, teeth whitening, eyelash extensions and/or microdermabrasions, will be an additional cost for all members.  The Business Insider posted a screenshot of the spa prices at a local Equinox gym in New York City, with prices ranging from $76 for a 25-minute deep tissue massage to as much as $151 for a 60-minute massage.

With members having to sign a one-year contract, a cancellation fee will apply if you cancel before your contract ends  According to members who did cancel, this fee can often be in the $200 range.

Private personal training costs need to be budgeted for if you plan on hiring one.

Tips to know:

Ice-cold, eucalyptus-infused towels are located throughout the gym to wipe off sweat and cool off after a workout.

How can I save money?

The initiation fee, according to most members, is always discounted or even can be lowered if you haggle with a representative when signing up.  While the monthly rates are often set in stone, it doesn’t hurt to try to see if you can get some wiggle room on the initiation fees.

The gym, as you may read online, is quite expensive when compared to other gyms in the area.  Is it worth it?  It’s really up to you to decide.  If you do go gym hunting, however, be forewarned, this gym will more than likely be the most expensive option.

SherSheGoes.com recommends waiting until late January or early February, a time when the company runs the best promotions.

Check with your employer as some companies do offer discounts to the gym.  You can also check with the gym to see if they acknowledge your employer as well.

Decide what you need.  As you can see in our table, there are multiple membership options.  If you know you will only use one location, then it makes sense to sign up for the home club only membership.

Many locations do offer a free trial membership to see if it’s a gym worth joining.
