For those who want to get the job done professionally at a salon will pay about $25 to as much as $55 to have a full set applied.  The cost will depend on their expertise, the type of design/art, type of job, the quality of the nails and how much of the nail that has to be done.

How Much Does Adobe Acrobat Cost?

Adobe Acrobat is a software application that allows you to manipulate PDF files and share them with others. It is a user-friendly application that comes with Adobe Acrobat Reader and can be purchased in professional or full versions.  Most individuals and businesses will often upgrade to a premium version when they want to fill out the forms and covert their PDFs.

How much does Adobe Acrobat cost?

Adobe offers two ways to purchase the software:  either via monthly subscription or by purchasing the stand-alone software versions.  Most businesses today, however, will choose the monthly option.

For the monthly versions, you can either pay $24.99 per month for the Pro DC version or $22.99 per month for the Standard DC version.  However, if you purchase it annually, the prices will drop to $14.99 and $12.99 per month respectively.

Teachers and students are offered discounts when buying Adobe Acrobat Professional, provided they meet the eligibility criteria; however, a student or teacher is entitled to one product only.

Adobe Acrobat isn’t the only option on the market.   PC World lists five alternatives that are cheaper and can offer similar features.  These packages include PDFescape, CutePDF Professional 3.7, PDF-Xchange Editor 3.0, Qoppa PDF Studio 8 Pro and Nitro Pro 9.

The Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free.  This will be required to read the PDF files, and this software can be downloaded on all operating systems, including iPhone and Android.

By prepaying up front for the year, you can save at least $10 per month.

Acrobat XI is often bundled with new software.  Brucebnews.com, for example, says XI Standard can be purchased for $50 if you purchase a new Optiplex desktop computer.

On this Reddit AskWomen thread, one paid $150 for highlights, a color, haircut and tip, while another paid $200 to $250 at a higher-end salon.

Ulta Beauty Supply, which has its own salon, charges anywhere from $45 and beyond.  This will depend on the method you choose.

When you want to hold a large birthday party, retirement party, or even a wedding, you may need to rent a hall in order to entertain all of your guests.  Renting of a hall will also allow you to enjoy the party more instead of constantly working at the party or messing up your home.  Whether you want to rent a hall at the local VFW or maybe even a local building, the cost of renting a hall will vary.

How much are hall rental prices?

On average, most halls are going to charge for simple setups.  This is going to include tables, chairs, electricity and access to a kitchen or bar.  This can cost anywhere from $50 to $600 per hour.  The cost will depend on the geographical location, the type of hall being rented, time of year, time of week, the amenities and your demands.  We looked up popular hall rentals in the United States and were able to get a ballpark estimate in our table below.

For example, a VFW hall will cost anywhere from $50 to as much as $300 per hour, depending on the location.  Most halls are going to demand a higher price tag on the weekends since they are in greater demand.  Also, keep in mind that most are going to want a two to four hour minimum in order to book the hall.

Some halls will charge per person rather than per hour.  For example, hotels with conference centers can cost as much as $20 to $60 per person.  For a 100 person, four to six-hour party, the hotel conference room can cost as much as $6,000.  Some hotels will include catering, open bars and more.  Results are going to highly vary.

How Much Does Halibut Cost?

Halibut is a flatfish that is part of the flounder family and is generally found in the northern Pacific and northern Atlantic ocean.  Although these fish average 20 to 30 pounds, the largest one ever recorded was 734 pounds, making it the largest of all saltwater flatfish.  The halibut can also grow up to eight feet long.

At a local fish market where the fish is caught daily, the price is going to range anywhere from $12 to as much as $21 per pound, depending on the season, the cut, the demand and geographical location.  Online seafood retailers could be double the cost.

Omaha Steaks, for example, sells a package of 12 six-ounce filets for $99 to $170.  These halibut steaks are pressurized and packaged for shipping.

Other seafood retailers may sell cheeks for about $20 to $26 per pound and smoked fillets for $30 to $40 per pound.  The whole halibut, without any work done to it, can be within that $12 to $21+ per pound range.  For instance, FreshSeafood.com sells its 25-pound whole halibut for about $18 per pound.

How Much Does an Acre of Land Cost?

If you want to invest in real estate, specifically a parcel of land, there are prior considerations you should take concerning your budget and the knowledge of the cost per acre.

How much is an acre?

The geographical location is key with real estate.  An acre of land can cost as little as a few dollars to as much as a few million dollars.  The pricing is very hard to pinpoint unless you know exactly where you want to search.  Msn.com said New Jersey has the highest average at about $196,400 per acre.

Farmland, for example, can be between $5,000 to $8,000 per acre. There can be cheaper land in some locations with an average cost of around $1,000-$5,000 per acre, and these are areas that have no timber or structures.  In 2015, the average acre in the United States sold for $3,020.  The highest farm values were in the Corn Belt region, where land sold for $6,350 per acre.

Land with timber may vary according to the age of the timber.  This will cost about $3,000 per acre.

As for residential, land in largely undeveloped areas will be significantly less than land in highly developed areas were roads, housing and other structures are readily available.

Land appropriate for commercial building construction may sell at $10,000 an acre or even more, again, depending on the location.

The prices below are acreage prices by state.  Remember, this is an average.  This is based on farmland only via a USDA land value report.  Take this information with a grain of salt because you will find that all land spread across the United States within these states will vary a lot.

Factors that affect the price:

Location

We all know that the geographical location is key in terms of real estate.  Land located in a high crime area will cost a lot less than land in an area high in demand such as Hawaii.

Size

Generally, the more acres you purchase, the more you can save.  This isn’t always the case, though.  Again, this is going to widely depend on where the land is located.

Type

There are a few different types of land available.  Popular types can include hunting, timberland, waterfront, farms, home sites and international.

When you buy land, the timber, structures, and other developments are included unless stated differently in the purchasing contract.

How Much Does a Helium Tank Cost?

Helium tanks are often purchased for those who need enough helium to fill up a handful of balloons since it’s cheaper than renting and/or buying the balloons.  The cost of a tank will depend on the size of the helium tank, the brand and where you purchase it.

How much does a helium tank cost?

Most helium tanks purchased online are disposable and can fill about 50 to 100 balloons.  On average, a disposable tank is going to cost anywhere from $30 to $65.

For example, this disposable helium tank created by Worthington Cylinders costs around $35 to $60.  This disposable helium tank created by Giant Party Store costs about$40 to $52.

There are alternatives available which act like a helium tank, but the balloons generally don’t have as long.  For example, the Pumponator will cost $15 to $21.

Party City sells a 14.9 cubic foot tank for $55 and an 8.9 cubic foot tank for $45.

If you have to pump more than 100 balloons, it may be necessary to rent a helium tank from a local store.  Tank rentals are all going to vary depending on the cylinder size and who you’re renting it from.  The average rental will cost $55 to $200 for 24 to 48 hours.  A 20 cubic foot tank, which can fill about 50 balloons, will cost about $40 to rent, while a 125 cubic foot tank, which can inflate about 350 balloons, will cost around $95 to rent.

Purchasing the latex balloons separately may be the best option.  For example, many Dollar Tree stores sell latex balloons for $1.  If you were to purchase a 14.9 cubic foot tank for $55, you would still need to purchase the balloons separately.  For that $55, you would be able to purchase 55 balloons and not have to worry about inflating them at home.
